Prize winning Haberdasher Hat by Jenny Beattie — Jenny Beattie Millinery - hats millinery England

The theme of 2022's HATalk competition was "Happy Place". Shortlisted hats were exhibited at the London Hat Week Exhibition at Morley Gallery.

Shortlisted hats were displayed at Morley Gallery as part of the London Hat Week 2022.

Judge Denise Innes-Spencer said 'I was blown away by the high standards of making by all of the finalists.' After much deliberation the judges gave first prize to Jenny Beattie.

The Haberdasher by Jenny Beattie 'So joyful and playful and appealing to all who sew. Exquisite detailing and finish,' the judges' commented.

Jenny Beattie's millinery career started in Bangkok making hats for the Bangkok Melbourne Cup celebration.

Jenny Beattie began training with milliners in 2012 until she returned to the UK in 2017 to train at Kensington and Chelsea HNC in Millinery, now Morley College.
